SAINT PATRICK SCHOOL
VOLUNTEER OPPORTUNITIES

It's fun and rewarding . . .
Volunteer for the 2006-2007 school year!

Parent volunteering is an important aspect of our school.  Our coordinator, L. Ferrara, oversees the volunteer program.  For the past 11 years, our school has been awarded the New Hampshire Blue Ribbon Award for Volunteerism.  Traditionally, over 5,000 hours of volunteer time are contributed by parents in such activities as clerical work, coaching, assisting in the computer lab, library services, tutoring, supervision and fundraising.

Not all jobs need to be done on school premises during the school day -- there are many special projects that can be done at home, or in the evening or on weekends!  If everyone volunteers in some way throughout the school year, we all get the job done and show what teamwork can accomplish!

Research consistently shows that children perform better in school when their parents are actively involved in school activities and volunteer opportunities.  Parent involvement is certainly a key to our success as an outstanding place for children to learn and grow!
