These cookies were a childhood favorite of mine, made by the leader of my Brownie troop. I have since seen the recipe, now called "No Bake Chocolate Cookies" or some such name. It doesn't take much imagination to figure out you could substitute coconut or peanut butter for the raisins.
OATMEAL FUDGIES

1 stick of oleo or margarine
3/4 c sugar
6 tbsp cocoa
1/2 c milk
Bring above to boil for 1 min. Cool 5 min.
Add:
1 tsp vanilla
3 c oatmeal
raisins, as desired
Drop by spoonfuls onto wax paper and cool.
