This is a really delicious bread posted on the new newsgroup, rec.food.baking, by Larry Allin (lallin@aol.com). Best oatmeal bread I've made so far- must be the molasses!

SWEET OAT BREAD
From: "Bread Machine Magic" by Linda Rehberg & Lois Conway
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
1 1/4 cups water
3 tablespoons molasses
3 cups bread flour
1 1/2 teaspoons salt
1 1/2 tablespoons sugar
3/4 cup rolled oats
1 1/2 teaspoons active dry yeast
Select light crust setting. When baking is completed, place loaf on wire rack to cool for 30 minutes before cutting (If you can wait! C.S.).
NOTE:The first time you try this, use 1 c water and watch at the beginning to see if more is needed. If so, add 1 tsp at a time and record how much it takes for the next time. I needed 1 c plus 1 T.
