People and Animals

A typical sight on Bourbon Street: people lining up to get alcohol. It's the only place I know in the U.S. where it's legal to wander around the street drinking booze. Note that the drink called a "hurricane" is made with 151 proof rum.

Acme Oyster Bar. Food is another thing people line up for in New Orleans.

This group is called The Kitchen Syncopators. They were better than some of the groups I heard in the festival.

A swarm of bees on a lamp post in Jackson Square. They were there for a few days. I don't know what happened to them - maybe a bee keeper came and took them away.
