We want to urge you to support Senate Bill 1401, An Act Establishing the Commonwealth Public Facilities Reuse Fund. This bill would set aside funds from the sale of former state hospital land to properly restore and memorialize cemeteries for all current and former public facilities in Massachusetts. This would include our cemetery, cemeteries at other state hospitals, state schools, public health hospitals and prisons. Your support is needed!!! Call or write your local legislators and the Chairs of the Committee on State Administration, Sen. Diane Wilkerson (D-Boston) at (617) 722-1673 and Rep. Geoffrey Hall (D-Westford) at (617) 722-2320 and ask them to support S. 1401 with amendments.
