Setting up the Windows 95 PPP Dialer
Using the Microsoft Internet Setup Wizard
- Purchase the Microsoft Plus Pack for the simplest, most straightforward solution.
(The "Plus Pack" is available on the street for about $40.00, and contains the Internet Setup
Wizard, the Microsoft Internet Explorer Web Bowser and many other useful utilities.)
- Or,
Download Version 2.0
of the M/S Explorer Web Browser from the Microsoft Web Site. (Includes the Setup Wizard!)
- Click on the links below to see an actual shot of the setup screen you will
be filling out.
Click on the Back Button on your browser to return to this document.
Install the Plus Pack
- If you don't want or need all of the included utilities, simply do a "custom" install and install only the Internet Tools.
This will give you the simplest method of setting up the integrated Windows 95 PPP Dialer,
a copy of the MicroSoft "Explorer" web browser and MicroSoft "Exchange".
- Or, if you have downloaded the M/S Internet Explorer Ver 2.0, execute the
compressed file in an empty subdirectory, (by double clicking on it).
