Otis Air Base

Do not ride near the National Cemetery nor near Base Housing.

Otis Air Base provides a wide array of trails to ride. Locals are concerned that the security of the Base will be honored. Violations will hurt many riders. Please be sensible. The best information is available at True Wheel Cycles in Pocasset on MA Rt 28 South. Group rides for all levels sponsored by the Cape Cod and Islands Chapter of the New England Mountain Bike Association meet at True Wheel's parking lot on Saturday at 7:00 AM, Sunday at 8:30 AM, and Wednesday at 6:00 PM. These rides last for about two hours. Please park in the rear of the stores.

If you choose to ride on your own view this larger map. Parking is you first priority. Heading South on MA Rt 28, go around the Otis Rotary to Connery Blvd. Move into the left lane. Take the first left to U-turn, (0.2 miles). As you leave the Base, the Otis Rod and Gun Club's Parking Area is on the right. Park here. Cross Connery Blvd. and find the trails a few meters to the East.

To ride from the South section, continue through the Otis Rotary to MA Rt 151. Head East toward Mashpee. After passing under the highway, you'll see the on ramp to MA Rt 28. Park at the next left. The trails are over the dirt pile then to the right.
