PROIV version 4

This major release of PRO-IV is designed to give the application developers better control over how their applications look, expand where their applications can be sold (De-Nationalization), and increases their development productivity.

The enhancements made to the Graphical User Interface (GUI), coupled with the inclusion of Callable Functions and a New Page Mode Report Writer can greatly improve the look and feel of GUI applications. These can now be more in-line with traditional "Windows" applications.

With the addition of Database Level Client / Server support, applications may be deployed in a variety of Client/Server configurations. Thin Client/Server, Fat Client/Server, Application Partitioning and Distributed Database configurations are now supported.

Development Productivity increases are ensured with the inclusion of multiple Intrinsic enhancements, several new Logic entry points and a sophisticated Symbolic Debugger.

UNICODE(UT-8) character support allows De-Nationalized versions of applications. PRO-IV now supports multiple language applications development from a single source base, and improves the handling of National Language Sequencing in RDBMS systems.

The Sybase RDBMS is now fully supported with this release.
