National Bay Area Brew Off (BABO)

The Draught Board hosts the Bay Area Brew Off each year. This years competition was held at the Hop Yard Ale House & Grill, 3015-H Hopyard Road in Pleasanton, Calif. The date of the competition was February 7th, 1998.

Brewpub Crawl in San Francisco

Saturday April 25, 1998. Keep that date open in your calendar. We're going to check out some of the newest brewpubs in the City. Pubs to include: Magnolia, Golden Gate, Beach Chalet, Thirsty Bear, E&O Trading and a bunch more based on the stamina of the crawlers.

Food & Beer Dinner

The club food and beer dinner is still being planned, possibly for late April. We are still looking for volunteers to make specific beers to share, or to prepare dishes to go with the beers.

Group Brew In

Each year we get together and simultaneuosly brew batches of beer. Its a celebration of National Homebrew Day in May and I can't think of a better way to spend it. Whether you've been brewing forever or are just learning, it's a lot of fun and very informative.

Picnic

Our Summer Picnic. Time to relax and share the brew on the grass. Details to be announced when it gets closer to the event. Sometime in July or August.

Holiday Party 1998

Our annual Holiday Party held in December of course. Lots of seasonal beers, food and good conversation. Details to be announced.
