Piano Sonata no.1 one line

LATEST NEWS:

The All-Melbinger Concert '08 will be at University of Massachusetts Dartmouth's CVPA rm.153 on Sunday May 11th at 7pm. Admission Free. The program includes performances by UMD students, faculty and alumni, plus local professionals:

Times and Again for soprano and piano

Sonata for Violin and Piano

Strange Birds from Zoroaster's Nest for cl., gtr. and percussion

Three Jazz Pieces for small jazz combo

Symphony no.1 is complete.
It is four movements and 27 minutes long, for large professional orchestra: 3333 4331 Timp 3 Prc Hp, Pno and strings.
The piece was not commissioned and no performance is scheduled, but I heard it and I had to write it. I will send it out to conductors, which is better than not having a symphony to send out.

Wind Quintet no.2 is underway.
The Arcadian Winds will play the piece sometime on their '08 - '09 season, or perhaps sooner if I produce the work sooner.
