Home of the South Allentown Racing Club (SARC)

Welcome to the home page of the South Allentown HO Racing Club located in Allentown PA, USA.

We’ve been an organized club for over 10 years, racing every Tuesday night starting the first Tuesday in October, through the last Tuesday in March. The pits open at 6:30 PM, racing starts at 7:30.

We have a core group of 6 members, but have had some nights with up to 12 racers.

The track is a 4 lane banked oval consisting of all Tomy track with an over all lap length of about 32 feet. It’s powered by a 5 amp per lane power supply and each lane’s voltage can be regulated. Timing and lap counting is done with modified Aurora lap counters. For more details and pictures about the track, please click on the “track” link.

We race 5 classes each night, starting with the slowest and ending with the fastest. The slowest class being the AFX Magna Traction and the fastest being anything you want to bring! For more rules on each class, please click on the “classes” link.

This is for fun only so we only race for points, and bragging rights of course. We have a point system set up that has been working quite well for as many years as the club has existed. For more details on how the point system works, please click on the “Point System” link.
