Tweeter Center - Camden, NJ My first Pearl Jam concert. It was unreal. I've never seen so many drunk people at one place in my whole life. Needless to say within 15 mins, you could smell pot. Then there was this chick that was too drunk to walk straight and her friend had to help her walk down the stairs. At the bottom of the stairs there was a half drunken cup of beer with cigarettes floating in it, which she picked up and was about to drink. Fortunately her friend stopped her. Needless to say a Pearl Jam show is quite different from a DB show. Nonetheless, they played a bunch of songs from Ten and rocked the crowd of 23,000. |
East
End Cafe - Newark, DE This will probably be the last time I see DB on this part of the tour. Even though I want to go for the Asbury Park show (which I've been heavily persuaded to) I won't be able to make it... These days weekends are usually pack with errands, chores, and various mandatory tasks. Anyways, this was a great show. EEC has always been one of my favorite setting. I like the intimacy, you can pretty much stand in front of him and get spit on as he sings. What made the show even better was this really gorgeous chick that showed up. OH MY GOD, she was like a freakin goddess... way off the scale. She was tall, shoulder length brunette hair, blue jeans, dark navy collar shirt... reminded me of Kate Beckinsale from Serendipity only much hotter! She was always talkin to a guy in a baseball cap. Needless to say I spend a great deal of time pondering about her afterwards. Not ashamed to admit it, beauty should be admired. Hell even DB gave her a huge 2 min hug... |
TLA
- Philly Last DB show I saw was at the TLA back in Nov 2002. I must say, that show was better than this one. For starters Erin Mckoewn opened, and she by herself is already an unbelievable performance. This time, the opener was another dude with an acoustic screaming, not really bad, but nothing spectacular either. What was interesting was overhearing people call wil masisak john malkavich. I guess there's some resemblance. |
