RETREATS:
Retreat to become strong. Our church is
affiliated with the East Coast Conference of the Evangelical
Covenant Church. Our conference took a leap of faith over 40
years ago and created Pilgrim Pines in Swansey, New Hampshire.
Pilgrim Pines has many organized retreats in which our church
takes part. We have retreats at other locations as well. Our and
the Pilgrim Pines web sites list those currently scheduled. Below
is an approximate timetable of some annual retreats.
Friday-Monday, Columbus Day Weekend:
Work and Worship Weekend at Pilgrim Pines - Spend
Memorial Day Weekend helping the Pilgrim Pines staff get the facilities
ready for the summer. Our weekend begins with check-in on Friday evening at
8:00 p.m. and will conclude with lunch on Monday afternoon. Time will be
spent working on Saturday and Monday (10 hours total), along with plenty of
time for fellowship, fun, and family. Cost for 2004 is $36 per person
(children under 8 are free) for the whole weekend and includes meals,
lodging, recreation, group activities and Worship times! Please call Pilgrim

Friday-Sunday, Late October:
Harvest Festival Days at Pilgrim Pines and Keene. Worship events are
led by a guest pastor. Additional event will be to help Keene
in the record breaking Pumpkin Festival. The Wee-Witty-Witnesses puppets for families will be featured at
the Pines. Contact Pilgrim Pines for more information and to

Singles' retreat at Pilgrim Pines in West
Swanzey, NH. Theme is geared for single adults. Contact

Friday-Sunday, November:
A Mother - Daughter Weekend at Pilgrim
Pines. A great opportunity for bonding or breaking down
walls. Pick up brochures in the narthex or contact Pilgrim

Wednesday-Friday, bracketing
Thanksgiving in November:
Thanksgiving at Pilgrim Pines. Because
Pilgrim Pines does all the cooking and cleanup, you can spend
more time being thankful for God and your family! Pick up

End of December through January 1:
First Night Celebration at Pilgrim Pines in
