Nos. 1 and 2: Having "Endless" so much bigger than "Mountains" seems sadistic.
I like Logo 1 - nice colors, would look great on a jersey or t-shirt.
They are all fantastic designs. I would have to say my 1st choice would be Logo 1, and my 2nd choice would be 3D.
The color scheme on 1 has potential.
The bird is too seagull like, and the topography seems like a there-and-back elevation profile. It would become mildly cool if the "mountains" were really the elevation profiles of a section of the route, perhaps overlapping. I like the riders being out of the saddle and climbing on 1, 'cause that is what I do. I do have to note
they really aren't climbing on the "3"s.
I particurarly like the #1 and #3D (in that order).
I think that the brown mountain logo does NOT need to have a bike on it. Looks better to me that way.
logo #1, with minor changes, would be very nice as well.
I liked logo 1A - the seagulls vs. the single crow in 1B, but perhaps it might be more appropriate to show a couple of buzzards circling over head (either turkey buzzards or black vultures would be fitting) although I didn't think much of the rider stading up so far over the handlebars. Also, for some reason my brain "smiled" when it saw the sun rising on the east (the RHS of the logo) vs. the slight bit of depression I felt with the one that had the rider going west towards the sun on the LHS of the logo....probably a feng shui type of thing.)

It would be neat to show moonlight mountains :)
I thought the Pennsylvania mountains were green?
The locale looks too "Out West"
After a long deliberation, and counsel with my wife, I'd like to cast my vote for Logo 2. It was a tough choice between 2 and 3D. As a
suggestion, it would be nice to make the cyclist little more prominent in Logo 2, if it wins.
I don't really care for logo 2 as it looks to be too "western" as if it belonged on a ride in Arizona.
Logo 2 is least favorite.

No. 3: the best, but
a) looks like 124 OK
b) how about a woman too?
c) since they're going on flat terrain, can they be sitting down?
d) not crazy about the colors.
But I do like the idea of showing night riding.

Logo 3D is pretty good, but I'd like it with just one bike, or maybe two.
I think it best captures the randonneuring spirit with the
elements of: camaraderie, night riding, and challenging
mountains looming in the background.
It's nice to see a nighttime logo.
I vote for 3d--the night scene is true only to randonneurs.
While I really like the night image of 3D, I think that the 1 and 1A are more uplifting and convey a happier more rounded impression.

The "3"s definitely capture PA best, and I'll bet a lot of my experience will look like 3D , though 3C is just as dandy. You did miss the options in which there is driving snow or rain.

I also liked Logo 3, but in choosing which was better, it was a little like getting my eyes examined "which is better, this ..., or this?" Others might not agree but for my riding style the night version is appropriate for me. :-) Saying this, of the Logo 3 versions I'd have to say I kind of liked 3B better than the others, although all were good.

Logo 3A (and B and C - but it's cleaner without the shading)
In logos 3A-C, I would have preferred the cyclists going from left
to right.
3A is my vote. The "3" series is definitely the one... I thought they captured the spirit of the event and the region.
#3. Logo 3a-3c

would have been just as happy with whatever logo there will be, without being asked :-)
Thank you for all the work.
The only advice I'd give would be that in choosing colors, to make it a little on the bright side - more in line with the BMB jerseys. So many of the jerseys (e.g., the three Cascades, Rocky Mountain, etc) are blues and greens. While they may look stunning when one is sitting down with other riders either before or after a ride I don't feel safe riding in them as I know I won't be visible to the motorists on the road, and I only wear them when I KNOW that I'll be leaving on my bright yellow rain coat (as I did on last week's ride) or fluorescent orange wind breaker (as I did on the ride in October.)
Great work. I am so looking forward to this ride!
All of the logos look great!
I have two suggestions regardless of which one you pick, which is to separate the 1240 from the km, as now it runs on and could also look like 124 0k, and the second is to get your state or club mentioned because I don't see anything to locate where the ride is.
I like 1 and 1A as well as 3D. I'm not crazy about the others.
Changes:
1) Helments (no bright highlights)
2) "K" changed to "km"
3) Stars (smaller, distribution)
