I've been wanting to get this page up for a while. I visited NYC in September of 2000,
and had many good experiences while wandering around various neighborhoods on foot.
While I was walking through SoHo with a friend, we heard singing ahead and found
a group of guys singing a cappella on a corner, doing fine versions of tasty old Motown tunes.

Later I was walking on the upper West Side. The light rain gave a sheen to everything.
Even on that rainy night, there were bikes everywhere.
What freedom - to wander the city by bike!
