CRASH! This weekend as I was flying in the open field the main gear got disconnected from the main rotor shaft and heli went down. At first it looked like I lost radio contact, but examination of the video record video has shown that rpm went to 0 before touchdown - i.e. mechanical problem was the reason for the crash. This is the second time I crash Eco because of the main gear failure. I am seriously thinking of abandoning Eco-8 and switching to another machine. The video record also shows that descent rate was -4 ft/s enough to break main frame at the point of landing gear contact. Video transmitter box has survived but got bent.
