927.5875 MHz Portable Repeater
The 927.5875 MHz portable repeater is used to provide coverage at major events such as Hosstraders, Near-Fest, Boxborough, and the Dayton Hamvention. The repeater is self contained in a hand carried equipment case similar to a large attache case. The antenna, mast, feedline, and base are in a small duffle like bag. This results in a package that can be carried easily by one person.
Antenna - Omni, or beam depending on the application and location on a 20 foot mast
Duplexer - small BpBr mobile duplexer
Transmitter/Receiver - Tait 2 RU package about 5-8 watts
Repeater Controller - NHRC-4
User Access - RX 902.5875 MHz, PL 131.8, TX 927.5875 MHz,
PL 100.0
Linking System Access - the portable repeater is frequently linked via the NHRC controller to other repeater systems
IRLP Node 4610 is currently connected to the 448.175 MHz Linking System. Incoming calls can be answered by anyone who is listening. Outbound calls are restricted to minimize the impact on local users and radio links. Outbound traffic is provided by control operators. Control operators provide this service at their discretion.
