Like everyone, we have received both good and bad service over the years. Well, we've prepared a list of Naperville area companies that have provided us with excellent service over the years, as a thank you for their outstanding service to us.
My mother, my father, and I have done a great deal of research on the topic of potica, and we can now report success in reinventing my grandmother's Potica recipe! Don't know what it is? Potica is a traditional Slovenian holiday cake, which is also common to many other East European countries. But you've never had it as good as this!
I also have my mother’s recipe for smorn. Smorn (which should properly be spelled with a hat on the s) is a Slovenian breakfast dish. It is basically a thin pancake, similar to a French crepe. But the Slovenians had it first!
Finally, I have placed on the net some genealogical information about the various branches of our family. I have reorganized these pages under a Genealogy Home Page. I also plan to add pictures which I have for many members of the family, especially the older pictures, dating to the mid-1800s.
