What's new!

Two new accessory products for the SECSI product line -- SECSI Suspenders and SECSI Limiter -- have been released. These products add pull-up or limiting resistors for SECSI outputs right at the SECSI Daughter Card, greatly simplifying wiring Tortoises, LED indicators, and signals. They are also useful with C/MRI products and other computer control products, as well as on the X and Y LED outputs of our SwitchLock product.

Products

Our computer automation products are aimed at the automation of model railroad switch, signal, and block power functions, interfacing to the serial port on a PC or other computer.

Our switch products are aimed at the electronic control of switch motors, making it easy to implement push-button diode-matrix route control of twin-coil and stall motor switch machines.

Our signal products are aimed at the electronic control of block signal systems. The modular system makes it easy to implement Automatic Block Signaling (ABS), Absolute-Permissive Block Signaling (APB), and Centralized Train Control (CTC), making prototype signaling possible for anyone.

Our CoolerCrawler High Performance Throttle Base Unit provides exceptional slow speed control of model railroad locomotives in all scales from N to G, without heating of delicate locomotive motors. This throttle unit can be controlled by radio control, getting rid of the tethers and all that wiring for hand unit plug-ins.

Our MightyBright high-intensity constant lighting units for LGB passenger cars and cabooses provide bright interior lighting at all train speeds, showing your train 'in its best light'.

Projects

Build a C/MRI microcontroller yourself! Build an eight-route diode matrix without any diodes! All on a single 3.75" single-sided board you etch at home. We have posted complete information and software for a single-board 89C52 micro-controller as a DIY project.

Model a realistic radio antenna flashing warning beacon using the MasterFlasher Programmable Flasher circuit.

Model a traveling light display using the MasterFlasher Programmable Flasher circuit.

More Information

We wrote a number of articles in Mainline Modeler on our electronics control modules for model railroads, how they work and how to use them, and we have posted them on the site for you to check out.
