Life is an ongoing education, and
now that I am an old
man I can see more clearly the pro's and con's of many of the things that I have experienced during my lifetime. In this section I want to put
these thoughts into some order so that my experiences may provide information, or just plain interesting reading to others. Note these are my
personal beliefs. I do not wish to impose them on anyone.
We live in an age of propaganda with every company publicizing their product or service often in extremely well planned programs. Our politicians and appointed officials use similar tactics to advertise themselves, and our various religious and citizens groups frequently loudly display their opinions. It is extremely easy to be swayed by the rhetoric and promises of these people and only when it is too late find that their philosophies do not measure up to their promises. The following articles expand on these ideas and also define some of the more important factors influencing our civilization both now and in the near future.
