Hinson seems to have run into some problems in his junior year after pitching very successfully prior to that.  In fact, his 2007 performance was very comparable to that of his teammate, Dan Moskos; better, even, since Hinson was mainly a starter.  Baseball America still ranked him as the 8th best prospect in South Carolina, but his 2008 dropoff can't have helped his draft status.
