The White Sox drafted Clor as a high school senior, but he
didn't sign. According to the Berkeley web site, he "had to sit out 2007
after originally signing a letter of intent with UNLV and did not compete for
Cal in 2008." He then struggled in 2009. The Berkeley web site also
says Clor throws in the upper-80s to low-90s, and uses a curve, slider and
change. It would seem odd if he signed with the Pirates after pitching
fewer than 20 innings for his college "career."
