Obviously, Gonzalez is a guy with good power who has trouble making contact. He did decrease his K rate in 2008, but his other numbers weren't as good as 2007. He's primarily played right. He had a huge home/road split in 2008, but I have no clue whether that means anything. The team's other slugger, Rogelios Noris, did not. Gonzalez made the GCL for 2009, but struggled even more with the bat and with making contact. In the field he split his time between the two OF corners.
