I'm not sure I've got the right guy. There was an Eric Alvarez in minor league camp and he's not listed in the media guide. He also did not play in organized ball in 2004-05, so I have no way to be sure that this is the Eric Alvarez who played for Savannah State.  The age is about right, though, as well as indicating that he's not a prospect.
