Garavito pitched very well in the Venezuelan Summer League, but struggled in his brief GCL debut. He did much better in 2004, although his BB and K rates were unimpressive. He spent 2005 in the Hickory bullpen, getting hammered to the tune of a .314 opponents' BA. He may return there in 2006, or he could get squeezed out by relievers coming up from Williamsport.
