Guillory throws four pitches, including a high-80s fastball and a good curve and change. He's a control artist who relies on moving the ball around and locating it well, rather than on pure stuff. Some scouts thought he might throw harder if he bulked up. He was Williamsport's best pitcher in the first half of his debut season, but he got hit hard in the second half. It's possible he tired from the increased amount of pitching. He was easily Hickory's best starter in 2005, but with hit and K rates that were only fair, he may not do as well at higher levels. He should be in Lynchburg's rotation in 2006.
