Herbort went 3-5-3, 2.41 as a senior. He throws a curve, change, and high-80s fastball. He signed quickly and was in the rotation early in the GCL season in 2004. He simply couldn't get anybody out and was shut down after 5 games and 4 starts. Whether it was injury- or performance-related I don't know. It may have been the former, as he was able to pitch only briefly in 2005, although he got much better results.
