Marte didn't put up very good #s in the DSL. His ERAs are misleading, as about half of the runs he allowed were unearned. He did well in the GCL, however, with a good K rate. As a LHP who was only slightly old for the level, it's not impossible that he could develop into a prospect. He should have a good chance at making the Williamsport bullpen in 2006.
