McLeary will likely serve as AAA, or possibly AA, bullpen filler. He's had mostly good K totals, but has generally gotten hit hard and struggled with his control. He seems to have had an uncharacteristically good season in 2004, which got him to the majors briefly, but he returned to form in 2005. Despite high hit totals, he's allowed only 48 HRs in over 670 minor league innings, so my guess would be he's a sinkerball pitcher.
