Fields played mostly 2B in college, but also played some CF and other positions. After signing, he was the primary 2B on a Bradenton team that was loaded with college draftees. He didn't show much patience at the plate or much power in college, and produced modest offensive numbers against the younger competition in the GCL. He'll probably graduate quickly to organizational utility player and could appear anywhere in the lower minors next year.
