Pedron had two decent seasons in the VSL, but didn't make the GCL roster and went back to the VSL for 2007. He had a big year, but it was his third at that level and he turned 21 shortly after the season ended. He made the GCL roster in 2008, but he was old to be debuting there, a fact that was probably reflected in his limited playing time. He didn't show any power but did get on base a lot. He hit RHPs well but went just 1-for-15 against LHPs. He split his time in the field between second and third. He'll probably fill in at Bradenton or State College in 2009.
