I am a biocomputational scientist with a long career in commercial biotechnology, revolving mostly around the Human Genome Project. My professional interests are: 1. delivering informatics systems to enhance the information content and usability of biological and chemical data. 2. developing new informatics methods to enhance our understanding of the living world. 3. ensuring that genomic knowledge not be used for malicious purposes.
