We have been checking out contrails since 1992 and have written to 
atmospheric scientists who believe these contrails are damaging. The 
Atmospheric society of Europe and the Meteorological Society have passed 
resolutions that there should be no jet traffic in the stratosphere because 
it is damaging the ozone layer and this is not being factored into the 
computer models determining the damage. I am not usually near a computer so 
this is something new. I hope I don't send you a message twice. I am sending 
the below to every email I can find. Am getting back messages from people in 
universities telling me to take them off my list. Sad that the people who 
should be concerned and helpful try to pass laws to protect the human race. 
We were involved with many groups of people in 1981 in Massachusetts who 
wanted to do the same thing. Every time the phone rang we answered, in 
terror, thinking that finally our husband or childen were dead also. How we 
lived through this we will never know. But everything happens for a reason 
and here we are at age 72 still trying after 18 years to solve this 
horrendous problem and prevent this from happening to the rest of the world.
What does it take to wake up the world to the fact that if the animals and 
trees are disappearing that we will be next. There is no doubt whatsoever in 
our minds. How long will it take to turn things around? It cannot happen 
overnight and in the meantime when we all discover what has been happening 
what condition will the human race be in?
NO CREDIBILITY
I wonder why no credibility is given to people who have put their sites on 
Superfund around the country. We traveled for a year visiting and talking to 
these people and also the media and professors at Universities. Why are we 
studying the problem instead of acting? What are our human rights?
CHEMICALS KILL
Also after 18 years of activism I do not understand why research is not 
being done to reverse the health damage done by low-level, long-term toxic 
substance exposure to people living at Superfund sites and other toxic waste areas.
*     Hazard Surveillance   We know the source  Iron Horse Superfund site N. 
Billerica Mass.
  *     Exposure surveillance    We breathed the chemicals  John Mannville, 
asbestos; Chemical lagoons; Toxic Waste Dump for New England; Paint company; 
almost every chemical possible, 50,000 gallons in tanks in underground 
vented to air: 30 years exposure and observation.
*     Outcome Surveillance     We watched the deaths, the children died in 
their 30s and 40s ; the parents died in their 40s and 50s. Grandchildren 
chemically damaged and did not live in area.
*     Is there an unwritten law that few have to suffer for the good of many 
and it was the misfortune of our neighborhood and countless other like ours, 
to be among the few?
OUR NEIGHBORHOOD AND HEALTH PROBLEMS
We lived on a small street and one year 2 young men who grew up in the 
neighborhood died at 32 and 36 years of age. 2 babies were born on the same 
street on the same month with spina bifida. One year we had 10 infants die 
out of 100 births. We had 4 cases of mesothelioma. 2 people in our 
neighbrohood had their legs cut off and neither smoked or drank. 7 people 
died of lung cancer one year in N. Billerica. In South NB. the same year 1 
person died. The uninformed Mass. PH said the people in N. Billerica smoked. 
They did not know that smoking and breathing asbestos kills you in a hurry. 
12 of the kids who grew up in our neighborhood died in their 30s and 40s. 
Why???For Progress?  Is it really worth it?

NO RESEARCH ON LOW-LEVEL, LONG-TERM TOXIC SUBSTANCE EXPOSURE WHY?

Why has no research been done to reverse the damage to immune and 
reproductive systems, liver, kidneys, cardiac and nervous system etc? Is 
science afraid to find out that small exposures are killing people?
WAKE UP WORLD AND GET INVOLVED.
Wake up Science, you will be next.
*     We have no faith or confidence in science.
*     The whole system needs to be changed. It is not working. Or is this 
what the system wants?
*     Activists need to be consulted.
*     What we have to share is more important than research in a lab.
We are also concerned about nature and believe there should be a national 
and international office for nature representing only nature. Nature should 
be equal to us.
MORATORIUM ON HARMFUL SCIENCE AND TECHNOLOGY
Technology needs to correct the damage it has done over the last 50 years. 
The health and future of this country are being insidiously damaged by this 
low-level, long-term toxic substance exposure. The time for studying has 
passed. We need to admit that yes, chemical exposure is damaging. People who 
are sick are not predisposed. A few should not have to suffer for the good 
that chemicals are doing These are some of the brainwashing thoughts that we 
hear from scientists who do not like what we are doing. Evil flourishes when 
good men do nothing. Are you a good person?

One negative response, many favorable responses
We are receiving responses to our email message, mostly good. However we did 
receive a message telling us that he did not want unsoliticed mail of this 
nature. We found that this person has an artitle in the web under "James D. 
Dingman, M.S.,R.E.H.S, candidate for NEHA Second Vice President" It is in 
Journal of Environmental Health. This mag has an article telling the people 
in the Env. Health Profession about how to influence people to accept a 
government incinerator for chemical weapons. James should read my article 
and respond to it. What I sent him a SORRY message (sorry he was upset not 
that I had sent him a message, it was refused. The magazine also sent a "I 
do not like you" response. Article in 3-99 issue on page 39 titled James D.
