Tesla's wireless power system is well documented in patents and available literature. The idea, as I understand it was to treat the Earth as a spherical capacitor, and to charge the ground with standing electric waves. Tesla tested this system at his Colorado Springs lab in 1898-1899. He then designed a full blown functional and complete system to be built at Wardenclyff, on Long Island. Marconi's theft of radio, the refusal of JP Morgan to finance something he couldn't charge everybody for, and the advent of the world war prevented the completion of the project. In actuallity, *no one* today really understands Tesla's system. Some are of the opinion that the "Magnifying Transmitter" would tap energy out of the electrical field of the atmosphere, thereby *becomming* a "free energy" device. Whatever, J.P. Morgan's refusal to continue financing was based on the fact that any fool could receive the power, without having to pay for anything more than an antenna (ie, "free power"). Extensive references can be had to back up all of these claims. >All sorts of bizarre claims have coalesced around Tesla, probably as a >result of his unique combination of brilliance and eccentricity-- he was >the closest thing to a stereotypical mad scientist that the century has >known. The stories about his discovery of amazing suppressed inventions >only obscure his genuine legacy. A typical mad scientist is in it for personal gain. Tesla was 100% dedicated to the benefit to all humankind. Tesla was not at all interested in fame or fortune, his only use for money was to finance his research. After the termination of the Wardenclyff project, and the indefinite hold on the Great Radio Controversy, Tesla continued his research for the benefit of mankind. Much of what he did after 1914 is clouded in secrecy (he became a recluse). After his mysterious death in 1943, his books, papers, and equipment was collected and sent to Belgrade. At the time, some material was considered "missing". Speculations abound that the missing materials were stolen by nazi agents, CIA, etc. The genuine legacy? He invented: AC power, induction motors, generators, transformers and transmission; HFAC power, radio and wireless communication & transmission; automobile ignition system, capacitors, neon & flourescent lighting, arc lighting, bladeless turbines, air-core resonant transformers ("Tesla coils"), oscillating shuttle circuits, ... The amazing suppresssed inventions? Actually not suppressed, just, never released/revealed/made available (all are Tesla claims): death ray: "A machine to end all war" electric bath: "all dirt would just fly off your body" interplanetary communication: Tesla would have needed the help of astronomers to contact beings living on other planets due to the difficulty of hitting a planet in motion around another star. Tesla did claim to have (maybe) made contact with Mars. speeds greater than c: Tesla claimed measurements of cosmic rays as 50 times C. mind reader: based on a reflex action of the retina. space energy reciever: Tesla demonstrated a device (black box with stubby antennas sticking out of it) installed in a pierce arrow automobile, with an electric motor, that could be driven all day long, at speeds up to 90mph, without ever needing refuelling. Tesla demonstrated this car to any interested journalist, for a week. The black box was the only component of the car not available for close inspection. The day Tesla was discovered dead (3 days after dying) Tesla was scheduled to meet with Roosevelt to discuss his "space energy receiver" and its capability to put an end to the war. television & remote viewing: Tesla was working on his own system, quite different from our current television. induced earthquakes: using resonant vibrations, Tesla caused an earthquake under his laboratory. There are many more, but I'll leave them for your research. >Those who are into conspiracy theories won't believe me in any case-- this >message is for the impressionable lurkers. >-- >Matt McIrvin And for those seriously interested in learning, contact The International Tesla Society: 1(719)475-0918 ---- ET "Tesla was 100 years ahead of his time.
