Black light on a pedestal,
White light on its knees.
Simple complexness which is,
All the reason in the world,
And none of the worlds reason.
All the truth, all the lies,
In the day, in the night,
In the dark, in the light,

The Day After				January 1, 1997


The people return to their daily grind,
As the new year begins to unwind.
They work hard as time does go,
Instead of letting life just flow.

The endless circle turns,
And the star of love still burns.
It's in the heart as I will show,
I will never be brought low.

I never lack for things to say,
Because I take life day by day.
So no matter what you say,
I'll keep loving you anyway.
