The Baron's Players - bringing Elizabethan theatre to life in greater Boston


The Baron's Players perform Shakespeare with an eye on what would have brought an Elizabethan audience to the theater. Although language has changed, passion and laughter still draw the audience into the world of the play. We strive to create productions that strip a play down to the emotions which reach out to people across the centuries.
Our next production is MacBeth, on Friday November 5 at 7:30 pm and Sunday November 7 at 7:30 pm in the Little Theater at Newton North High School, 360 Lowell Avenue, Newton, MA 02460. The Baron's Players will present the play in the round and with minimal sets, relying on the graphic beauty of the words and the skill of the performers to bring the play to life.
