Getting things done takes team skills.  At the SFSU Graduate School of Business I often used my team management skills to successfully complete important projects.  

 "Putting E-Commerce to Work for Your Business" conference held in downtown San Francisco October 2000 --  above -- the conference's student organizing committee; Bonnie Mioduchosky, Brett Lewis, Natalia Thurston, Paul Kohara, Susana Gonzalez, Fumie Takauchi.

In addition to coursework, I was involved in a number of extracurricular activities. 

Served as the Publicity Chair of the student organizing committee to produce an e-commerce conference.  In addition to my contribution in the areas of publicity and marketing I also contacted speakers and sponsors, arranged for facilities, and made a number of key contributions to the overall design and production of the conference. 

Served a one-year term on the Executive Committee of the Graduate Business Association (MBA student body organization) as Fundraising Chair. 

Worked with the Dean of the College of Business and his staff on a number of projects related to improving alumni relations and graduate networking. 

Cumulative grade point average 3.7

 

Nominated for the 2002 San Francisco State University Graduate Student Award for Distinguished Achievement in recognition of both high scholastic achievement (GPA) and significant contributions to the school of business, local community, and to my profession.
After graduation, invited to sit on both the steering committee of the newly formed Business Relations Center that will focus on improving networking between current business school students, alumni, and business and on the advisory committee of the non-profit SFSU Center for Electronic Business.
