8/15/96 - Subject: Lead/Lag PROM notes.
Lead/Lag will
work with any IOM/2. In an IOM-1010,
a special PROM (version 1.46) must be used. Without the proper PROM the module may experience
intermittent communication losses.
Call technical assistance or fax in an order for PROM version 1.46
when using Lead/Lag. At this PROM
level, the feedback display of analog outputs is not active.
8/15/96 - Subject: Adding remote override feature to an existing IOM-1010
The remote
override feature can be added to an existing IOM-1010 for a list price of
$625.00. It must be returned to the
factory for this upgrade. Also, if
you have lost the remote override terminal strip or ribbon cable, they are
available. The terminal strip is
part # 7040900, list price $55.00.
The ribbon cable is part # 6040600, list price $37.50.
8/15/96 - Subject: Problems with all 8 IOM inputs.
For IOM, IOM/2,
or EC/IOM, all 8 inputs share a common power supply. Therefore, if you are experiencing a
problem on several inputs, it may be due to a problem on a single
input. To test, remove all input
wires and connect them one at a time.
This should reveal where the problem lies.
