| Ethie Castle dates from around 1300 when a sandstone keep was built by the Abbot and Monks of Arbroath Abbey. Ethie is reputed to be Scotland's second oldest permanently inhabited castle. | We only stayed one night at Ethie Castle, but before we left we were given a private tour of the Castle and its many rooms which was very interesting. |
