ETHIE CASTLE
Ethie Castle dates from around 1300 when a sandstone keep was built by the Abbot and Monks of Arbroath Abbey.  Ethie is reputed to be Scotland's second oldest permanently inhabited castle. We only stayed one night at Ethie Castle, but before we left we were given a private tour of the Castle and its many rooms which was very interesting.
