Play a Game of World Conquest!

Please note that all automated 2-player games are free to new players for the first 30 days! Your participation and comments are welcome!

The 'net version of the PTS game system requires two items:

The first item is: our GUI (client/player helper) is PC based! You must have a PC/clone in order to participate with our 'net version. You can, however, participate in another version of our game; go to Paper games of WC

Secondly, PKZIP is used to compress all game files.

For that reason, we have made two versions of the WC game system available. One with PKWARE enclosed, and another without. All game data that is transferred between player and moderating computer is encrypted with our own propriatary process to ensure safe transmission of game/personal data. Here are detailed instructions on how to install the game package on your computer!

FTP the WC game package which includes PKZIP (374K)(WCVIEW Version 7.36)

or...

FTP the WC game package without PKZIP (172K)(WCVIEW Version 7.36)

FTP the UUENCODE Utility used on the above files. (Self-extracting zip file.)

FTP the compression utility, PKZIP used on the above files. (Self-extracting zip file.)

All versions of the above files are self extracting zip files! Copy the file into a directory called WC, and type the filename! The game package file will expand into 10-15 files. One of the files is an ASCII read.me file that explains how to install the WC game system in more detail!

After you have installed the game package, type: WCVIEW. Most of the rules for World Conquest can be accessed in WCVIEW by hitting F1 twice!

If all else fails, leave me an email message asking to send you the game package via email! I will put the 4 uuencoded files through to you when I pick up the request.

FTP the latest version of WCVIEW! (FOR UPGRADES ONLY!!!) (112K)(WCVIEW Version 7.36)

FTP the latest HELP files that WCVIEW uses! (Not stand-alone: FOR UPGRADES ONLY!!!)(Last Update: September 1995) (27K)
