At Sunday morning services, the congregation prays, sings, and actively listens together to an inspiring and healing Lesson Sermon read from the Holy Bible and Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures by Mary Baker Eddy. The two books make up the Pastor of Christian Science churches throughout the world.
On Wednesday evenings, members and visitors come together again for inspiring readings from the Pastor of Christian Science, prayer, singing, and sharing healings experienced through the study and practice of Christian Science.
Our Christian Science Sunday School teaches the healing message of the Bible and makes the truth practical for today’s young people. Students range in age from 3 to 19. They meet in small classes to learn the inspired Word of the Bible, and how they can apply its teachings to solve any problem. First lessons include the Ten Commandments, The Lord’s Prayer and its spiritual interpretation by Mary Baker Eddy, and Christ Jesus’ Sermon on the Mount. The discussions are lively, relevant, and engaging. Sunday School meets at the same time as the Sunday Service.
During our services, our church offers child care for the youngest visitors. They have their own special room filled with age-appropriate toys, books, and activities. Two church members are assigned for each service to care for the children, while parents enjoy the church service or testimony meeting.
Mary Baker Eddy understood the importance of giving gratitude for God. Each year, Christian Scientists join together on this day of thanks to share their gratitude for the blessings and progress made throughout the year.

Christian Science Journal, Sentinel, and Herald
Mary Baker Eddy started The Christian Science Journal in 1883 as a monthly publication to "put on record the divine Science of Truth." It includes articles to help readers think through the ideas studied in the Bible and Science and Health. It also includes testimonies of healing and a directory of Christian Science Practitioners, who are available to pray for anyone looking for prayer-based healing.
In 1898, Mrs. Eddy started the Christian Science Sentinel, a weekly publication. This publication looks at current trends and issues of the day, bringing God's healing power to transform our daily lives through divine Love.
The first Herald of Christian Science was published in German in 1903. It has expanded since that time to include many other languages, including French, Portuguese, and Spanish, bringing the healing power of Truth to the world.
The Mary Baker Eddy Library is available for visitors to learn more about the life and achievements of Mary Baker Eddy. Visitors to the Library may also be interested in touring the Mapparium®, the Publishing House Lobby, and The Mother Church.
CHURCH. The structure of Truth and Love; whatever rests upon and proceeds from divine Principle.
The Church is that institution, which affords proof of its utility and is found elevating the race, rousing the dormant understanding from material beliefs to the apprehension of spiritual ideas and the demonstration of divine Science, thereby casting out devils, or error, and healing the sick.
