The portico is finished.
The upstairs bathroom gets tile and flooring. The
white tile and shower don't exactly match the white floor and cabinet,
but I'm not concerned.
The kitchen floor is installed on Friday. Unfortunately,
it seems to be the wrong color. Fortunately, I have not had a melt-down
over this - I left a message for the contractors, we'll see what they
say Monday morning.
This is what the kitchen floor should look

A section of the living room carpet is removed in
order to put down the kitchen vinyl in the entryway. You can also
see that the coat closet door, which used to be horrid '70s-brown,
is now white. I'm much happier with that!
Also this week, the counter people came to template
the kitchen counters.
I put off the bedroom furniture delivery for another
week because the upstairs is not yet complete - the beige outlets
need to be changed to white, and the electricity has to be hooked
up. I'm still waiting for the electrician to come.
