More delivery craziness - the appliances were delivered
on Tuesday. The dishwasher and disposal came, but for some reason
the microwave/hood-range was not included. It will come next week.
On the bright side, the bedroom furniture was redelivered correctly.
The new blinds went in Monday, and the HI-MACS
countertops were installed on Thursday (it's a solid surface material).
The plumber was supposed to come on Friday to finish
the kitchen and upstairs bathroom but he didn't. He wasn't here Monday
either.
At this point, I'm waiting for them to finish a bunch
of small things upstairs, mostly touching up nicks and scratches (and
of course the bathroom). Once I'm sure no more work will be done upstairs,
I can move up there and empty out the two downstairs bedrooms so they
can paint and carpet. Then it will be pretty much done!
For the record, I will have moved everything out of
my house while still living here. How do you suppose that happened?
