Monday: Framing of the second floor extension is completed.

Tuesday: Roofing is done. These guys work fast! The
carpenters start framing the inside walls. This view is of the guestroom
from the master bedroom, through the bathroom. (Don't worry, the walls
will be closed!)

Wednesday: Tyvek wrapping starts in preparation for
the siding. The inside framing continues. Inside views are: (1) master
bedroom looking back to front - the opening on the right will have
built-in shelves and drawers; (2) master bedroom looking front to
back toward the closet (stairwell in center of picture).

Thursday: (1) The portico goes up. (2) Basement stairs
are framed. (3) Master bedroom from back of closet looking toward
the front of the house. (4) Second bedroom looking toward the front
of the house. This will also have built-in shelves and drawers.

Friday: The framing is done upstairs, and the electrician
has started the rough wiring. The small blue and gray boxes in the
pictures will be outlets, light switches and phone jacks. There will
also be a cable connection in each room.
Next week the construction company is on vacation;
the electrician will continue to work, and the windows may be installed
if they are delivered, but there will not be much work done otherwise.
