DESCRIPTION: This course teaches the student how to create dynamic Web sites using basic web authoring tools. The student will learn basic HTML including tables, forms, frames and cascading style sheets and will gain an understanding of the history and function of the Internet and related technologies.
OBJECTIVES:
- Create web pages using HTML
- Create web pages incorporating GIF and JPG files
- Create web pages with various types of hyperlinks, colors and fonts
- Create web pages using tables and frames
- Create web pages with client side forms and learn the concept of CGI
- Create web pages using cascading style sheets
- Demonstrate an awareness and conceptual understanding to the technologies used in and related to the Internet
- Sharpen and strengthen business problem solving skills
