My ongoing obsession with knitting. I have noticecd that lots of knitters code their own webpages, and own lots of cats. Making socks is especially gratifying. To knit is to take something that is so throw-away in this culture (like socks), and making it something beautiful and full of meaning. I have many unfinished art projects. The big ones are the oil paint-by-numbr of Jesus, and the plaster bust of Maria. My friend Maria, not the Mother of God. I'm intersted in learning how to make books. Writing, construction, and illustration. How can someone with no talent for drawing illustrate their own book? Much of my art experimentation (collage, photography, block printing, stamping, calligraphy) stems from that question. Also, how can I write a book when I can't create a plot?
