Who uses the Alexander Technique?

The Alexander Technique can benefit anyone who is willing to learn
about themselves. Students generally fall into four categories:
- Those who need to use their bodies with maximum ease and
flexibility: actors, dancers, singers, athletes and musicians.
- Those whose carriage is bad, uncomfortable, painful, or whose
occupations leads them into bad postural habits.
- Those referred by their physicians because of medical problems
relating to postural and/or physical habits.
- Those who are interested in expanding their consciousness and
wish to develop their potential such as meditators and those in therapy.
