2 i. Martha Ann² Clements (#526) was born in Willow, Amherst County, Virginia November 15, 1857. Martha died September 20, 1920 at 62 years of age. She married William Thomas Whitten in Willow, Amherst County, Virginia, February 1878. (William Thomas Whitten is #485.) William was born in Willow, Amherst County, Virginia September 20, 1856. William was the son of Joab Whitten and Mary Francis Allen. William died March 03, 1940 in Charlottesville, Albemarle County, Virginia, at 83 years of age. His body was interred in Taber, Nelson County, Virginia, Rock Springs Cemetery. (See William Thomas Whitten for the continuation of this line.)
