2. Ayres² Layne (John¹) (#731) was born 1724. Ayres died 1795.

He married Mary Woodson April 15, 1759. (Mary Woodson is #732.) Mary was born 1740. Mary was the daughter of Robert Woodson and Rebecca Pryor Woodson. Mary died 1829 at 89 years of age.

Ayres Layne and Mary Woodson had the following child:
