2. William M.² Johnson (Richard¹) (#1504) was born March 24, 1822.

He married Martha A. Jennings Novmber 6, 1851. (Martha A. Jennings is #1493.) Martha was born in Buckingham County, Virginia August 28, 1833. Martha was the daughter of John William Jennings Jr and Elizabeth A. Vernon. Martha died August 17, 1904 at 70 years of age. Her body was interred in Willow, Amherst County, Virginia, Amherst Cemetery.

William M. Johnson and Martha A. Jennings had the following children:

3 i. Mary Elizabeth (Molly)³ Johnson (#1507) was born September 14, 1852. Mary died June 13, 1928 at 75 years of age. Her body was interred in Willow, Amherst County, Virginia, Amherst Cemetery. She married Zachariah Taylor Jennings December 14, 1871. (Zachariah Taylor Jennings is #1508.) Zachariah was born in Willow, Amherst County, Virginia October 2, 1848. Zachariah was the son of Powhatan Perrow Jennings and Catherine B. Jewel. Zachariah died July 28, 1926 at 77 years of age. His body was interred in Willow, Amherst County, Virginia, Amherst Cemetery. 4 ii. James Henry Johnson (#1509) was born July 16, 1854.

5 iii. Nancy Jane (Nannie) Johnson (#1510) was born June 12, 1856. Nancy died April 25, 1892 at 35 years of age. Her body was interred in Willow, Amherst County, Virginia, Amherst Cemetery. She married Charles E. Jennings December 23, 1873. (Charles E. Jennings is #1511.) Charles was born in Willow, Amherst County, Virginia September 23, 1843. Charles was the son of Powhatan Perrow Jennings and Catherine B. Jewel. Charles served in the military March 2, 1861. (See Charles E. Jennings for the continuation of this line.)

6 iv. John William Johnson (#1512) was born March 18, 1858.

7 v. Lucy Ann Johnson (#1513) was born May 10, 1861. Lucy died February 28, 1912 at 50 years of age. She married James Thomas (Tom) Clements. (James Thomas (Tom) Clements is #1514.) James was born in Willow, Amherst County, Virginia August 13, 1855. James was the son of James P. (Lanlord) Clements and Eliza Jane Allen. James died May 2, 1913 at 57 years of age. 8 vi. Elizabeth Susan Johnson (#1515) was born October 15, 1863.

9 vii. Richard Lee Johnson (#1516) was born February 28, 1866. Richard died August 3, 1943 at 77 years of age. His body was interred in Willow, Amherst County, Virginia, Tudor Hall (Family) Cemetery. He married Lelia W. Jennings. (Lelia W. Jennings is #1517.) Lelia was born October 25, 1870. Lelia was the daughter of William H. Jennings and Sarah Frances Miller. Her body was interred in Willow, Amherst County, Virginia, Tudor Hall (Family) Cemetery.

10 viii. Martha Ellen Johnson (#1518) was born March 19, 1868.

11 ix. Fanny Calvin Johnson (#1519) was born August 9, 1870.

12 x. Abner Dewitt Johnson (#1520) was born June 26, 1872. Abner died January 27, 1875 at 2 years of age.

13 xi. Oliver Bell Johnson (#1521) was born October 8, 1874.
